 The Curt Switch Ball™ features a J-groove design to slide 1-7/8", 2" and 2-5/16" trailer balls, down, over, and up, then twist, without the need for pins or tools. Each Switch Ball™ meets the V-5 and SAE-J684 regulations for conversion ball sets and is designed so the weight bearing capacity is resting directly on the shank. This feature takes stress away from the ball and frees the coupler from friction and binding, to provide smooth and safe towing. Curt Switch Ball™ is guaranteed for life against defects in manufacturing and is constructed from premium grade steel with a nickel chrome plating.
